Delighted I met lots of wonderful people! Especially during the HP meetup <3 Thank you everyone!!! It was fun to run around with you and forget about real-life for a bit :3 I really wish it lasted longer!
Unfortunately we're not going to the May one... Need to save up for the summer holidays... But next Oct? As long as we have any money left!!! Hopefully I'll have my full SGA gear ready by then!!! P-90 & Beretta replicas included <3 And we (me, Heather & Drew) plan on making Quidditch robes as well!!! We'll need another person though (for the Gryffindor) but I'm sure we'll find someone before Oct ^^
I'm still in a heavy McShep mood (I blame Joe Flanigan and his Kirky ways xD) and I'm almost finished with my fanvid!! Only 3 minor holes left!!! Damn, McKay is so frustrating! As much as I love listening to David's voice - I need scenes when he's actually *NOT* talking!!!! ~growls~
Even work is more bearable with Wraithbait in tow <3 Love my phone xDD Although sometimes I wonder if it's a good idea to read steamy NC-17 on your shift... gets me way too distracted!! At least the time goes faster and the customers seem more pleasant when I'm on Cloud 9 because of a certain Canadian scientist and his Flyboy ^^
And I went and got myself an early X-Mas present yesterday... McKay & Sheppard action figures... The boys will be delivered around the beginning of December and then I can have my wicked way with them :3 Here I blame Regan (my fellow McShepper) for planting those evil ideas in my head!! I was thinking about making some fluffy McShep comic strips with them and maybe make it into a series or smth? Since I'm rubbish at writing I can at least portray my fic ideas this way...? Cause there is plenty!!!
There are my tv shows as well, which keep me sane at home... Cause of course I just had to catch a cold at Expo!! Misfits is back!!!! <3 I was laughing my ass off during the last ep!!! Curtis ftw!!! I'm a sucker for shapeshifters *o* Can't wait till the next one since it's gonna be Simon-centric!! Glee came back! Britney, I love you so much it hurts!!! Leprechaun xDDDDDD And Puck! OMG!!! Pure fluff <3 And there is TBBT!! Cuddling Sheldon nyahahaha!!!! Vampire Diaries annoys me a bit already... Give me more Tyler/Caroline pls!!! Don't give a rats ass about Elena & Stefan and their stupid little dramas!!! Have to catch up with Fringe... watched only the 1st ep of the new season so far (only because Flanigan was there
)... And there is Supernatural! Miss my boys but I totally got stuck halfway through season 5 >_> And there is Dr Who... And ppl try to get me to watch Castle, apparently it's really good! Gah!! When will I have time to watch it all!? xDDDI started playing WoW again... so that means even less time for other things xP Created a lovely Blood Elf Huntress (for the Horde!!) and named my pudgy turtle pet 'Rodney' xDD It's gonna take me a while to max her but I'll get there eventually! Not my fault I get distracted by pretty much everything so easily haha!
And I have something wonderful to look forward to and that makes everyday life easier to digest!!! In 10 months, August 2012 - my dream is coming true! I'm going to a Stargate convention in Chicago, IL!!!! Others dream about ComiCon in San Diego, I always dreamed of SGcon <3 And guess who is already confirmed!? No other than Joe Flanigan!!! Yay!!! I'll see him again *o* Just hope to be more composed this time... I was so emotional last time... he probably thought I'm some stupid little fangirl stalker or smth
I just couldn't help it!!! He talks and walks and looks and does pretty much everything else like Sheppard!!! SGA is my religion and excuse me if meeting the main character left me a bit shaky xDD I don't even wanna imagine what would happen if I met Hewlett... who's like my personal GOD!! Mako shaped puddle of goo on the floor >_>So yeah, even though I'm back to my routine lifestyle, it doesn't affect me as much as it used to! I'm quite content cause there are people and things that keep the smile on my face *^^*
